  • Health literacy
    • What is it?

        1. Affects 9 out of 10 adults (CDC)
        2. Two Definitions

          2. Organizational health literacy: the degree to which organizations equitably enable individuals to find, understand, and use information and services to inform health-related decisions and actions for themselves and others (CDC)
        3. “Health literacy is a complex phenomenon that involves individuals, families, communities and systems.
